Bridal Shop Raises Human Trafficking Awareness

Adorned in Grace, a non-profit bridal shop in Raleigh Hills, is working hard to raise awareness and funds to stop human trafficking in Portland. With the donations of new and used bridal gowns from the community, dresses are sold at discount prices. All proceeds are used toward helping the victims of human trafficking through non-profits such as Door to Grace, an organization that provides safe homes, mentoring and support for young girls who have been rescued from sex trafficking.

Recently, Adorned in Grace has received several beautiful designer gowns, including a Maggie Sottero piece which sells in the store for half of its original retail price. They also have a Design Studio for at-risk teens which gives young girls the opportunity to redesign donated items. The Design Studio allows volunteers and mentors to show teens how valued and loved they are.

Adorned in Grace is a great way for women and girls to become advocates for their sisters and friends in the prevention of human trafficking. Proceeds go to raising awareness and providing support and safe shelter for victims of human trafficking.
