Gresham DHS Office Gets Makeover from Churches

The Gresham DHS office had an extreme makeover thanks to the dozens of volunteers from churches in the area. Hundreds of church volunteers worked to spruce up the building, as church members desired to give back to a group of people who do a difficult job.

“I'm going to guess there's around 10,000 square feet that we have actually gone through and renovated,” said Marc Estes from City Bible Church. “Everything from the floor up, new carpet, new paint, new furniture, new accessories on the wall... we've done everything.”

Estes said there will be about 3,000 or 4,000 hours put into the project, and about $50,000 worth of donations by the community.
