Kindred Partners Honored by Beaverton School District

Each year, the Beaverton School District hands out awards to those individuals and organizations within the larger community that have positively impacted the schools, staff and students.

SPN played a significant role in the initial stages of the idea for such community collaboration efforts. Those initial ideas have now become the signature program of the Beaverton School District called "WE." The annual community impact awards recognize the leaders in the business, service and school community that have brought their resources to the table to meet specific needs within the student population.

The Faith Partner Award this year went to our close friends at KINDRED PARTNERS – formerly known as Love INC, Beaverton. Steve Pringle, Executive Director, and several key members of his staff and volunteer team accepted the award from Jeff Rose in acknowledgement of a number of programs they have been leading to address student needs.

Rose made it clear in his remarks that as he was preparing to leave the district, it is the collaborative efforts of folks like Kindred Partners that has given him his greatest sense of satisfaction during his tenure. He stated that the Beaverton community has come together because of leaders like Steve Pringle, who has worked tirelessly to identify needs within the Beaverton School District and sought ways to meet those needs by working with the larger faith community.

Please join us at SPN in congratulating the team at Kindred Partners for a job well done!
