Donations Needed
Looking for a way to help children in your community feel ready to return to school in the fall? Need to clean out your own kids' closets for the new school year? YOU can make a difference!

The Wichita Center in Milwaukie is just one example of an organization committed to providing school supplies and gently used/new clothing to needy students. (READ MORE....)

The Wichita Center, located at 6031 SE King Road, Milwaukie, is part of the North Clackamas School District. The volunteers there anticipate serving more than 1,000 students in August and September before the start of the school year. They are currently collecting donations to help meet these needs.

College Ruled Spiral Notebooks

College Ruled Notebook Paper

5-7" School Scissors

Glue Sticks

#2 Pencils

Colored Pencils

2" Three-ring Binders

New Girls' and Boys' Socks

New Girls' Hipster or Bikini Underwear

New Boys' Boxers or Briefs

Used clothing in good condition for students in grades K - 12

Additionally, school supplies and backpacks are being collected by school districts throughout the greater metro area. Contact your local district office to see what you can do to help them prepare their students for the new school year. Cash donations to purchase needed items are also gratefully accepted. All donations are tax-deductible, and receipts are available.
